Volunteers from our Stroke Support Group joined forces with members of Eastleigh and Chandler's Ford Rotary Clubs at the Easleigh Mela for a Know Your Blood Pressure event. We tested 87 people. Of those, most required no further action.

Volunteers Pauline Marocco and Liam Stapleton carried out a very successful Know Your Blood Pressure event at the first One Community showcase event, which took place at The Point in Eastleigh.
Stroke survivors, their carers and stroke volunteers enjoyed a lovely social afternoon at the Haskins Tea Rooms in West End, Southampton. The ambience in the room was one of good humour and friendliness and it is evident that our group is developing a character of its own.
On Thursday 26th May the Stroke Support group were entertained with a visit to the Milestones Museum, Basingstoke.
