We are delighted to announce that one of our members stood up to the plate and has joined our team of volunteers.
Steve had to go through interviews, police checks and a number of other Stroke Association procedures to pass as a volunteer.
At our AGM in June of this year, John Drywood stood down as a volunteer. A very sad day for our group.
John has been a volunteer with the group since the very beginning of the group, and he will be sorely missed; although we send him our best wishes along with our thanks.
We are a little late posting this, but not posting it would be wrong.
Our AGM in June saw the retirement of John Drywood, and we will all miss him so much.
On the 20 July this year, Terry Lesson a founder member of GCSC kindly placed the plaque in front of our Jubilee Rose, planted by the CEO of the Stroke Association, Juliet Bouverie on 25 May in honour of Elizabeth II

What a fabulous Day we all had today, 25 May 2022.
New faces, a new exercise instructor, and a visit from our CEO who we invited to join us at one of our meetings via a network zoom meeting a few months ago. We were delighted when she accepted our invitation.
We are sorry to say that Mike has resigned and will no longer be doing our fitness classes. Not to worry - your volunteer team are on the case and we expect to resume classes with GFitness on Wednesday 2 February 2022.
