We are very excited that the Mayor of Newbury, Cllr Billy Drummond, has launched his year-long One in 100 Fundraising campaign in support of his chosen charity - Speakability. He wants to use his year as Mayor to highlight the work we do and the support we provide to local people.
The aim of the campaign is for 100 people to get involved in fundraising or make a donation of £100, or more, each. Please spread the word and encourage people you know to help us raise money. Suggestions include: a cake sale, collect loose change for a year, a sponsored silence, run a marathon, sell crafts, wash cars. The list is endless!
