On Thursday, 4 July 2019, the choir was invited to participate in the opening event of the Manchester International Festival - 'Bells For Peace' - with Yoko Ono.
Around 10 members of the NW Stroke choir were able to go along on the day along with some of their friends and family, and participate alongside over 4000 others from all over Manchester, ringing bells and singing 'Give Peace a Chance'.
